Ramirez Thomas Elementary, now going into its fourth year, is the newest of the public schools in SFPS, and one of the fastest growing schools in the south side. Our school population at any one time is approximately 97% Hispanic. The school offers diverse programs to meet the academic needs of ALL students. The school is a Pre-K through 6th grade, Title I school offering a free breakfast and lunch program to all students. The school also offers an after school tutorial and an after school program five days per week. Extra-curricular activities include band, violin, and Mariachi guitar. Top notch teachers and staff all meet the “highly qualified” state requirements.
